JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our A.C.A. accredited 235 acre camp is located 15 miles north of Philadelphia
and serves mostly inner-city children ages 8-14 from the greater Philadelphia area.
We are dedicated to increasing environmental awareness andhaving fun in the outdoors.
The College Settlement has been active in the field of multi-raia, multi-cultural camping since 1922.
Adjacent to The College Settlement Camp is Kuhn Day Camp which serves 200
disadvantaged children each summer. The camps share facilities which include
a small lake, woodlands, fields, streams, softball fields, playcourts, two
pools and several out buildings. The camp Health Providers work with campers
and staff from both camps.
Our staff is hired from all parts of the United States as well as from foreign
countries. We strive to assemble a hard-working, fun-loving group of people
that can fulfill their employment responsibilities with lots of energy and enthusiasm.
Dates of employment: June 14th to August 23rd
Salary: Starting at $500/week. Room and Board are provided
