ARTS CAMP
Americas, leading arts camp seeks caring RN/LPN & separate EMT (June 24 -August 27)
to be ONE of TWO nurses at our beautiful and creative camp of 200 campers
/ 125 staff near Lake George NY.
Plenty of time to enjoy yourself in a truly wonderful place.
Cannot accommodate your children if any at this time.

We have two nurses at Long Lake. Most needs of campers (infirmary wise)
are for sore throats, minor scrapes, and splinters due to our non-competitive environment.
While sports are abundant I would say careful guidance, superior attention and supervision
and mostly the lack of desire to kill the other guy keeps things pleasant.
Hazardous areas would be the waterfront, horseback riding- and
maybe our silver-smith studio all offered with the utmost in safety.
Both nurses eat a little early for each meal then have sick call after in the infirmary. T
he nurses take turns at all other times at the infirmary with one in or around (outside on the lawn)
most of the day while the other is free to enjoy activities or whatever on camp.
Our requirement is to post where each of you are at all times in case of emergency.
There are two paramedic ambulance units in Long Lake Town 1 mile away and
our camp physician is the town Doctor who has a medical center
in town and lives down the road from us.
We have been very lucky these past few years in having nurses
who really enjoy the camp, its people and its wealth of experiences.
Most important I would like to know what you are looking for in a summer away from home.
If everything works out then you would live in the infirmary which is in the center of camp
in a wing of the house called "main house which is featured
in our brochure which can be mailed to you.
