JOB DESCRIPTION:
Come spend your last 2 weeks of summer vacation at a natural science summer camp
for gifted and motivated learners.
We need a certified nurse for July 21st through August 3rd. Our camp is non-competitive, nurturing,
and intellectually stimulating yet non-academic.
Campers are involved in hiking, camping, group games, pottery, fly-fishing, canoeing, and other typical camp activities.
Responsibilities include health care of 98 campers and 40 staff members, preparing and administering medications,
maintaining a clean and orderly health care facility, keeping the camp well stocked of health supplies,
communicating with parents and local health professionals in the event of illness or injury,
and being a nurturing caregiver to the campers and staff.
Salary begins at $500.00 per week plus room, board and laundry.
Housing is a private room adjoining a bathroom and the health care room.
