About This Camp

Camp Chen-A-Wanda was established in 1939 and has served thousands and thousands of campers over the past 80 plus years. Our camp population is made up of boys and girls ages 7 – 16 years old and come from several communities throughout New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Maryland, Pennsylvania, South Florida and even North Carolina, Missouri, and California. We are diverse and varied so you can’t coin Chenny as a camp that comes from one place. staff and camperWe have a staff of 300 exceptional people who dedicate their summers to providing the most incredible experiences to your children.

We say that Life is Great at Camp Chen-A-Wanda and it truly is. It is a place where we unplug from the daily existence of technology that at times keeps us disconnected from one another to a summer full of face-to-face amazing relationships and adventures that surpass our dreams. A place where being outside and playing all day long is what we do. Chenny is a place that allows us to reach our potential and be the best we can be.
