Camp Health Assistant

Seasonal/Summer position – June-August 2026

Positions are open at our ACA accredited camps, Camp Hawthorne Ridge (Girard, PA), Camp Skymeadow (Avonmore, PA), and Camp Conshatawba (Summerhill, PA)

The Camp Health Assistant supports the camp’s healthcare operations by assisting the Camp Nurse in providing safe, effective, and efficient health services to campers and staff. This role includes assisting with supervising medication administration, first aid, health record documentation, and daily health routines while promoting a culture of wellness, safety, and inclusion at camp. The Camp Health Assistant is a part of the camp’s administrative team and is not responsible for contributing to camp ratios. The Camp Health Assistant is not required to hold a nursing license, but must demonstrate maturity, organization, confidentiality, and compassion in working with campers and staff.

Position Details:

• Duration: Early June to early August
• Compensation: Daily rate, camp housing during duration of contract

• • Current enrollment in a health-related undergraduate or graduate degree program
  • Minimum age of 21
  • Successful completion of background checks
