About This Camp

At Camp Kinderland we pride ourselves on our caring, nurturing staff. Many of our staff members return year to year many counselors grew up in camp and completed our two-year Counselor-in-Training program, where they worked directly with campers, and had workshops and discussion groups to reflect on their experiences and learn new counseling skills. Counselors and other staff come back each year because they love the values and environment that camp provides, and want to share that with campers, and thus lend a strong sense of continuity and history to our community. Camp Kinderland is a multicultural, non-religious sleepaway summer camp in the Berkshire Mountains of Massachusetts that centers children's experiences and honors our progressive secular Jewish roots through our commitment to economic, racial, and social justice.
