Camp Nurse (Health Services Director)

Camp Cedarbrook in the Adirondacks is a Christian girls’ camp located in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains of New York. We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Health Services Director / Camp Nurse to lead our summer Health Services program and care for the physical well-being of our campers and staff.

The Health Services Director oversees daily health care operations, leads the Health Services team, and helps create a safe, welcoming environment where campers can thrive physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Details:

• Compensation: $1,000/week + room and board
• Dates: June 3, 2026-August 10,2026
• Location: Adirondack Mountains, New York

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the health and wellness of campers and staff
• Provide daily nursing care and first aid
• Administer and document camper medications
• Respond to medical needs and emergencies across camp
• Review camper medical forms prior to arrival
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records
• Supervise and support Health Service Assistants
• Ensure compliance with NYS Department of Health regulations

Qualifications:

• 21 years of age or older
• Current New York State license as a Registered Nurse or Physician (REQUIRED)
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification (may be renewed at camp if needed)
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
• Emotional and spiritual maturity with an active Christian faith
• Agreement with Camp Cedarbrook’s statement of faith, spiritual standards, and statements of Christian conduct
