Saginaw’s summer camp counselors and specialists are excellent role models and come from all over the world. Counselors are selected on the basis of skill, enthusiasm, warmth, and a sincere desire to work with children in an overnight camp setting. Many of our counselors have spent their lives growing up as Saginaw campers and several of our staff return year after year.
Supervision is extremely important at a summer camp for kids. Saginaw houses two to three staff members per bunk. All new staff members must be 19 or entering their sophomore year in college. Former campers may return to Camp Saginaw as staff when they are 18 years old and entering their freshman year in college.
