Since 1921, Lake Bryn Mawr Camp has been a summer home for generations of campers who converge on camp each June to learn, play, run, laugh, dance, shout, sing, cheer, make friends, honor old traditions, establish new ones, and celebrate summer in a loving and spirited community. Bryn Mawr "Angels" are energetic and spirited! They share their love of camp every day by singing, cheering, wearing their Green and Gold and preparing for traditional camp events like Color War and the annual end-of-summer bonfire. LBMC campers receive instruction in tennis, land sports, gymnastics, aquatics, performing & fine arts, English riding and adventure programs. They swim in two heated pools, volley on 17 tennis courts, and perform under the stars on our outdoor stage. In order to accomplish the goals we set for our campers, we rely on a staff of enthusiastic, motivated and skilled women and men who love camp, enjoy working with girls and young women, and have knowledge they want to share. Our counselors are college students, educators, athletes, artists, performers and youth workers age 19 or older. They come from a variety of states, countries and fields of study, but they have at least two things in common: they love children, and they love a challenge.
