Wilshire Boulevard Temple Camps is the premier Jewish camp in Southern California for over 75 years! Unfortunately, our beautiful camp was decimated in the 2018 Woolsey fires, so now we have a temporary location at Camp Buckhorn in the just as exquisite Idyllwild-Pine Cove.
We have a centrally located infirmary on the campus. Our faith based camp is a sleep away camp for campers, with sessions ranging from 1 week to 26 days. Medical staff can stay from 3 days until the end of the camp if you want to!
The LVN duties include: Health management and assessments, parent conferences, electronic documentation, education for campers and staff as needed, triage. A physician or Nurse Practitioner is on campus at all times. There are 4 clinic hours daily and we are responsible for all camper and staff health concerns and emergencies.
Medical staff is also given 1 free camper day for every day worked and may have up to 2 children for free at camp while working. Meals and housing are included!
