The Fresh Air Fund, a not-for-profit agency, provides free summer programs to New York City children from low-income communities. The Fund operates five residential camps in Fishkill, NY that serve over 3,000 campers between eight and fifteen years old each summer. We prefer nurses to work the full camp season, but will consider half season employment as well. Camp Nurses are provided with private rooms at their assigned camp and eat meals in the camp dining hall with campers and staff. Accommodations for family members are available. Each nurse is encouraged to participate in the general camp program as much as possible. If an applicant is not New York State licensed, we will pay for the necessary fees to obtain a license. We offer an excellent salary and a travel allowance. For more information please contact Alicia Skovera at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are looking for licensed NPs, RNs and LPNs who have at least one year of post-graduate experience, enjoy working with children, and are able to work in a structured residential setting. Applicants should be professional, flexible and caring.
