We're planning summer camps at the
Girl Scouts of Central and Western Massachusetts. The camp health
supervisor is always a critical part of our camp community and we are taking
extra precautions this summer to ensure a healthy camp. We are reducing
camp capacity to allow for appropriate social distancing in sleeping quarters
and at activity stations and, of course, will follow all CDC and local Board of
Health guidelines. If you love summer in the outdoors and teaching girls
how to be safe and healthy at camp, we hope you will consider the possibility
of being a camp health supervisor at Camp Green Eyrie in Harvard, MA or Camp
Bonnie Brae in East Otis, MA! The health supervisor creates an emotionally and
physically safe environment for campers, maintains health records, performs
first aid and dispenses medications. The camp health supervisor usually lives
at the camp for the summer and can be an RN, Nurse Practitioner, EMT, advanced
nursing student, wilderness first aider, etc. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
and OSHA blood borne pathogens standards are a must. Visit gscwm.org to
access the camp staff application. Submit cover letter and resume to hr@gscwm.org.
