Job Description
  • Maintain complete and up to date health records.
  • Provide comprehensive nursing assessment to campers and staff and intervene as appropriate in accordance with standing orders.
  • Ensure safe medication packaging, storage and administration in accordance with camp policies and procedures.
  • Respond quickly to medical emergencies and seek additional medical support as needed.
  • Communicate any and all health concerns or emergencies to the Director of Health Services.
  • Communicate with parents/guardians and staff as necessary.
Job Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with current compact state nursing license or willingness to gain reciprocity with NH Board of Nursing.
  • Attitude of flexible, dependable service, consistent work ethic and a commitment to Camp YJ and its goals. 
  • A willingness to step in to support unexpected turns of events.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, creatively, and enthusiastically with a variety of ages, both children and adults.
  • Commitment to being at Camp YJ for the summer 2025 sessions.
  • Housing and meals provided.
