Working with us at Camp North Star is a rewarding and memorable experience!  Our camp staff members are much more than employees. You are quickly swept up into the family tree of Camp North Star. Steven and Brooke, our Owners/Directors, along with their leadership team are there for you every step of the way. They are friends, mentors and your family for your time at camp. The Camp North Star staff is the best possible team of professionals in the business. We have a high standard of excellence for ourselves and each other. We are serious about our taking care of our campers, making sure each person at camp feels safe and valued and we have fun every day doing it. Our medical staff is on site and available 24 hours a day. Our registered nurses tend to any and all of our health needs. Whether it’s reminding our campers to wear sunscreen during the day, putting band-aids on a scraped knee, making tummy aches better or supporting any and all other health needs such as managing medication. Our nurses are there for campers, staff and parents every step of the way. Camp North Star’s medical staff is supported by the camp’s pediatrician who is on-call and available 24/7.  Nurses with camp-age children are eligible to have them attend tuition-free ($11,300 value) through our camp scholarship program.
Job Requirements

Registered Nurse License. If you are licensed in a state other than Maine, we cover the cost of a temporary Maine nurse license. Qualified candidates will have experience in administering daily medications, keeping detailed medical records for campers & staff, providing health checks and monitor the daily and health and well-being of your campers and staff.
