Camp Horseshoe is a premier boys’ camp on a beautiful lake in the Northwoods of Wisconsin, and we are hiring!
June 6 – August 6 (shorter assignments may be available)

This is a live-in summer position at Camp Horseshoe, located in Rhinelander, WI.

Camp Horseshoe is situated on over 140 acres with top-notch facilities. More importantly, Horseshoe has a family-type atmosphere and is often described as fun, spirited, warm, and caring.

If you love working with children in a fast-paced, fun environment, Camp Horseshoe is the place for you! Competitive salary with full room and board available for RNs this summer.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring overall health and safety of campers and staff
  • Assisting with medication administration under the supervision of a licensed nurse
  • Administering first aid and caring for sick or injured campers and staff
  • Responding to incidents that may arise at camp
  • Communicating with camp directors and campers’ parents
  • Maintaining records in our database for each camper and staff member

NPs, RNs, LPNs, new grads, and nursing students are welcome to apply.

Job Requirements
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse in Wisconsin
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working with children and families
  • Pediatric, school, or camp health experience preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a camp health team
