Camp Ramah New England is hiring nurses for our 2026 season! We are looking for experienced, confident, patient, and caring RNs and LPNs who enjoy working with children. We have approximately 600 campers, 200 staff members, and a medical team consisting of nurses, nurse aides, a visiting doctor each week, and a health center administrator.
THE JOB
The role of a nurse at Camp Ramah includes dispensing scheduled medications, twice-daily sick call, first aid, electronic medical record-keeping and providing good old-fashioned TLC. Our campers are ages 7-16 and our staff come from around the world. Nurses play an integral role in maintaining the camp community’s overall health and safety. Nurses can choose to live at camp (room and board included) or can choose to drive to camp daily if living locally.
COMPENSATION
Compensation includes competitive salary, room and board, laundry, travel allowance, MA license reimbursement and opportunities to enjoy all the facilities that Camp Ramah offers, including sports, lakefront, arts and crafts, and beautiful scenery. Our nurses are encouraged to immerse themselves in the camp culture for a rewarding summer experience.
DATES
Nurses can work the full summer: June 23 – August 16 or one session: June 23 – July 19 (first) or July 21-August 16 (second). Availability needed during staff week (June 15-22) for setup, orientation, and training.
